Campus Dining Meal Plans

In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2010-2011 academic year. If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, simply contact the ODU Business Office (ER 133).


RESIDENT DINING PLAN OPTIONS

20 Meal Plan with $135 Panther Points

This option offers students the availability of every meal during the week offered in Hamilton Dining Room AND $135 in Panther Points per semester  for personal or guest use in the following locations: Griffin Student Center Cyber Cafe featuring Sub Connection and Seattles Best and Panther Grill featuring Pete's Arena Pizza Shop and Grill 155 and Panther Plaza Snack Shop.

20 Meal Plan with $210 Panther Points

This option offers students the availability of every meal during the week offered in Hamilton Dining Room AND $210 in Panther Points per semester  for personal or guest use in the following locations: Griffin Student Center Cyber Cafe featuring Sub Connection and Seattles Best and Panther Grill featuring Pete's Arena Pizza Shop and Grill 155 and Panther Plaza Snack Shop.

20 Meal Plan with $300 Panther Points

This option offers students the availability of every meal during the week offered in Hamilton Dining Room AND $300 in Panther Points per semester for personal or guest use in the following locations: Griffin Student Center Cyber Cafe featuring Sub Connection and Seattles Best and Panther Grill featuring Pete's Arena Pizza Shop and Grill 155 and Panther Plaza Snack Shop. This meal plan is recommended for students who like to dine as often as they wish.

14 Meal Plan (No Points)

This meal plan offers students 14 meals per week of continuous dining during the scheduled hours of operation at Hamilton Dining Room where any combination of meals may be used but must not exceed 14 meals per week: PLUS meal exchange can be used at the Griffin Center Cyber Cafe and Panther Grill during designated meal exchance hours.

7 Meal Plan with $300 Panther Points

This meal plan offers students 8 meals per week of continuous dining during the scheduled hours of operation at Hamilton Dining Room where any combination of meals may be used but must not exceed 14 meals per week: PLUS meal exchange can be used at the Griffin Center Cyber Cafe and Panther Grill during designated meal exchance hours.

COMMUTER MEAL PLANS include 75 block meals for use in Hamilton Dining Room and varying increments of Panther Points $135, $210 or $300.

Panther Points can be used for personal or guest use in the following locations: Griffin Student Center Cyber Cafe featuring Sub Connection and Seattles Best and Panther Grill featuring Pete's Arena Pizza Shop and Grill 155 and Panther Plaza Snack Shop.

 

Important Info

Selection of a Campus Dining Services Meal Plan entitles you to a Meal Card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected. Here is how it works:

  • Students must present their card to enter Hamilton Dining Room or to use their points in any of the retail facilities.
  • Students can purchase Panther Points. The dollar value you purchase equals the number of points purchased. You also receive a 10% discount on all purchased items in all dining location on campus. Points can be used for yourself or a guest.
  • Faculty & Staff - In addition to purchasing additional Panther Points throughout the semester, faculty and staff may purchase meal "blocks" from the Business Office (ER 133). This option is especially convenient if you are here for the same meal on campus on any given day. Check with the Business Office for special rates.
  • Faculty and staff can also add value to their Panther ID card through their general debit account to be used at any dining venue as well as the ODU Bookstore and vending machines.

Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. Should this happen to you please report it to the ODU Business Office immediately and get a replacement card in he ODU Business Office (ER 133). We are not responsible for meals lost due to lost or stolen meal cards. Please report lost or stolen cards immendiately.

Do you have particular dietary needs?
No problem! Our Campus Dining Services Program can accommodate your special dietary requirements. For more information, please contact a dining service manager at 614-251-4598.

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
