Selection of a Campus Dining Services Meal Plan entitles you to a Meal Card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected. Here is how it works:
- Students must present their card to enter Hamilton Dining Room or to use their points in any of the retail facilities.
- Students can purchase Panther Points. The dollar value you purchase equals the number of points purchased. You also receive a 10% discount on all purchased items in all dining location on campus. Points can be used for yourself or a guest.
- Faculty & Staff -
In addition to purchasing additional Panther Points throughout the semester, faculty and staff may purchase meal "blocks" from the Business Office (ER 133). This option is especially convenient if you are here for the same meal on campus on any given day. Check with the Business Office for special rates.
- Faculty and staff can also add value to their Panther ID card through their general debit account to be used at any dining venue as well as the ODU Bookstore and vending machines.
Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. Should this happen to you please report it to security immediately and get a replacement card in he Business Office (ER 133).
Do you have particular dietary needs?
No problem! Our Campus Dining Services Program can accommodate your special dietary requirements. For more information, please contact a dining service manager at 614-251-4598.
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:
- Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
- Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
- Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
